BIRD WATCHING

DESCRIPTION:

Some of the companies I would recomend for bird watching are the So Cal Pelagic Birding, the Island Packers, and the Truth Aquatics. All of theese companies do full day and half day tours, however I would recomend the half day tours, because 1 day of bird watching can get immensely boring. 

 

VIEWS:

Well obvioulsy for bird watching the sights you see are birds. There are many different birds in Channel Islands, so it can be fun, however after a few hours it does get boring. 

 

DON'T FORGET:

Don't forget to bring binoculars! Some birds are spotted from far distances, and for those birds you will need binoculars to be able to see them. Also, don't wear heavy shoes that make loud noise because you wouldn't want to scare the birds away!

 

TIPS:

Don't wear heavy shoes that make loud noise when you walk because that will scare the birds away. I would recomend going in a smaller group of people because that way you don't have to push in front of others to see the birds. 

SCHEDULE:

I would recomend doing Bird Watching with a company, because it can be tough to find cool looking birds on your own. Also, in companies you get to learn about the birds and you can't do that on your own while bird watching. The tours usually start early in the morning because that is when most birds are out, so be prepared to get up early! And make sure you know if your company provides lunch or not, because you wouldn't want to be hungry.
