PRESERVING NATIONAL PARKS

There are many things you can do to preserve the national parks you visit. For starters, it is important to not leave any trash around. You have probably heard this before, but actually cleaning your messes makes a huge difference. If you want to keep the national parks you visit looking like came, do your community a big favor by leaving no trace. It is a small thing to do, but impacts that national park. Also, be sure not to pick and keep things, because it ruins the cycle of nature. You may be tempted to pick up a pretty seashell, but ask yourself "Is this fair? What is everybody took a sea shell?" and you come to the realization that leaving it behind is for the best. So make sure to think about your actions when you are at National Parks. Don't do something carless that seems like it will ruin the ecosystem.

Fun Fact:

Did you know that there is actually a foundation dedicated to preserving National Parks? It is called the National Park Foundation and is currently investing $13M to the Elwha River Restoration Project, and is supplying $67M to restore 6,600 acres of the Everglades!
