THE CRYSTAL CAVE
HALF A DAY TRIP
DESCRIPTION:
The five tours in the summer that I would recomend are the Daily Tour, Historic Candelight tour, Discovery Tour, Wild cave tour, and Junior Caver Tour. I would recommend doing a tour through the cyrstal cave because the tours take you to all the parts of the crystal cave, and you can really see all of it.
VIEWS:
As can you can see in the picture above, crystals hang from the top of the cavern, and look completely gorgeous. However, you get the best views of this when you actually are inside. Pictures cannot describe the beauty of the Crystal Cave.
DON'T FORGET:
Don't forget to bring a backpack with all the nessary stuff you will need like, food, water, and extra layers because it can get chilly!
TIPS:
Where good hiking shoes, because like most tours, there will be lots of walking. Also, bring a camera because you won't want to forget the views! And watch your step on some of the parts in the cave.
SCHEDULE:
First off, book you tour ahead of time, and come 10 minutes early. It is about a 40 minute drive from Waksachi Lodge to the crystal cave. The crystal cave allows visitors from May to November, so keep that in mind when you visit. Once you arrive, get with your tour group and start the tour.
