GIANT FOREST

DESCRIPTION:

The giant forest is a stop in the shuttle system in Kings Canyon. You can do hikes that range from 3 miles all the way to 12 miles in the giant forest. All around you are giant sequia trees,a spectacular sight. I would highly recomend the giant forest. 

 

VIEWS:

Kings Canyon and Sequoia national park are known for its giant sequoias. Giant Seqoias are the largest known trees on the planet, containing the 3 largest (by volume) trees in the US. You get a 360 degree view of all theese humongus Sequoia trees. I would recommend deticating a whole day to see the Seqoia trees. 

 

DON'T FORGET:

Dont forget to wear good hiking shoes because you will end up doing a lot of hiking in giant forest. You won't regret seeing theese Seqoia trees! It is quite a sight!

 

TIPS:

Just a quick reminder that at any national park you go to you can always become a jumior ranger no matter what age you are. And don't forget to take lots of pictures becasue you won't want to forget theese trees!

SCHEDULE:

I would recomend leaving early, just to get a head start for your day at Seqouia and Kings Canyon National Park. And don't forget to get lunch because their will not be any nearby restaurants. The less crouwded parts of the day will be between 11:30 and 2 because people will be getting lunch. So just buy some sandwiches from a cafe in the morning, and take with you in your backpack on your whole day, because you could just have lunch on the trail.
