SNORKELING

DESCRIPTION:

Companies I would recomend are the Kelp Forest Snorkeling with Channel Island Outfitters (I would highly recomend Channel Island Oufitters for anything, really, it is a very good company), the Santa Barbara Adventure Company, and other big comanies like those.

 

VIEWS:

Well this section is pretty straight forward. You would not necessarily see above water views but you would see underwater views of, well, fish. It can be very exciting if the water is clear and there is a lot of fish to look at.  

 

DON'T FORGET:

Don't forget to wear a bathing suit, go with a good company, or of couse go alone (though going with a company is better), and bring everything you might need in a backpack. 

 

TIPS:

Go with a good company and make sure your flippers and goggles work before going in the water. Breathing through your nose with the goggles on takes a bit of getting used to, but it is very fun snorkeling!

SCHEDULE:

It is best to do snorkeling with a company, though going snorkeling by yourself is still doable. Snorkeling is best in the afternoon, because it is nice to be in the water at the hottest point of the day, and that is when the sun is shining brightest so you can see the fish the best and the water seems the nicest.
